DBM Italia was founded in 1991 through the efforts of a team of managers who had a deep understanding of the organizational problems and the psycho-social dynamics at play in the Italian business world. Today, DBM Italia is the leader in outplacement, with a countrywide network.

DBM has received Italian ISO 9002/94 and UNI ISO 9001:2000 certification. In October 2004 it was recognized by the Italian Ministry of Work, (n. Prot. 950/RP) for the services it offers in support of occupational relocation. DBM Italia is a member of AISO, the Italian Association of Outplacement Organizations.

Geographic Areas of Coverage
DBM has its Italian offices in Milan, Rome, Bologna, Genoa, Padua and Turin. It maintains a temporary presence throughout the rest of the country in a variety of Business Centres, as well as at those locations where it works in partnership with its clients.

Specialist Expertise
DBM Italia supports organizations in the management of the career transitions of their personnel. By drawing on its considerable expertise, DBM Italia is able to plan and implement comprehensive solutions aimed at satisfying the needs of both the organization and the individual employee.

Outplacement can be managed either individually (i.e. resulting from an agreement between the employee and the company) or collectively (i.e. the result of union negotiations with regard to groups of workers).

DBM Italia makes use of highly-qualified consultants in the field of employment and outplacement. Our consultants are subject to rigorous internal and external supervision to guarantee a constantly high level of service. In addition, ongoing training programmes ensure that the latest techniques available on the international market are applied and adapted to Italian needs.

Successful professional relocation is achieved within a framework of specific techniques designed to drastically reduce the time required:

1.  Self-evaluation and professional assessment.
2.  Career development and the identification of professional goals.
3.  Resume preparation and other communication skills relevant to the job
market.
4.  Targeting promising areas of the employment market for future career
development.
5.  Training in verbal skills techniques.
6.  Overseeing job research and initial contacts.
7.  Employment offers, guidance with decision-making and settling in.

Between 1995 and 2004, DBM Italia guided more than 4100 people towards finding a new career. Over the course of the last 12 months, DBM Italia has successfully placed 100% of its individual candidates; the success rate for group relocations stands at 92%. There is no better record in the field.
