DBM Hungary, the Hungarian affiliate of DBM Inc. was established in January 2000. As a premier local HR consultancy firm we work with organizations undergoing corporate change.  DBM Hungary is based in Budapest, the capital city, and we have successfully completed assignments all over the country.

Since its launch, the company has worked with over 80 multinational and Hungarian companies as well as public administration aligning their work forces to meet changing business needs. Our services include Individual and Group Outplacement, Separation Notification Training, Assessment, Corporate Culture Audit, Motivation and Employee Satisfaction Surveys, Transition Coaching, New Manager Assimilation, Career Management, Emotional Intelligence and Creativity Development Workshops.

Services
Individual Outplacement Services
In the form of one-on-one counseling sessions, participants receive guidance on career review, self- assessment, career planning, CV writing, successful job search methodology (networking, recruitment firms, advertisements, direct contacts, and Internet), interviewing and salary negotiation.

During the course of their program, they have access to our office infrastructure including computers, printers, Internet, telephone, fax, as well as electronic databases and company listings.

Individual programs are available in:

Combined (group and individual) programs – Powerstart
In cases where a larger number of staff level employees are released, career counseling is also available in a format that combines group workshops and one-on-one sessions, with one month of office usage. Program elements to be covered are the same as in individual outplacement services.

Career Centers
In cases where large-scale downsizing or factory closures occur, we offer on-site career centers for blue collar and clerical staff. Open workshops and counseling sessions are held to cover job search related issues. Career centers also contain a job development function, which provides a thorough research of companies and available job openings in the given geographical area.

Notification Training
Notifier workshops prepare managers in charge of notifying employees to apply best practices in separation interviews. They also provide managers with tools on how to handle the remaining staff.

Assessment

Corporate Culture Audit
The audit process, which is based on a company-wide questionnaire, a set of interviews and focus group discussions, aims at gaining a clear picture of company values, beliefs and inherent practices. It is especially valuable at times of major corporate changes, such as mergers, acquisitions or restructuring.

Motivation and Employee Satisfaction Survey
In order to retain a committed and well performing team, it is essential to understand the motivations of staff and the level of satisfaction they enjoy regarding these motivators. External facilitators ensure that individuals discuss their views and share their true concerns openly. The survey helps managers have an impact on company morale and performance by applying customized motivational tools.

New Manager Assimilation Workshop
The workshop helps managers get familiar with their staff and the challenges of the position. It facilitates the quick acceptance of the manager by the staff.

Career Management
We offer a 2-day workshop using state-of-the art career management tools and materials that enable employees to take charge of their careers within their organization.

Our 3 month Career Management Coaching is designed to improve employee engagement and retention levels among high potentials.

Executive Coaching
The coaching process links individual effectiveness to organizational performance in times of corporate change. It helps organizations to attract and hold on to their top talent and promotes a content and change-compliant work force.

Emotional Intelligence Development Workshop
The development workshop helps managers and staff level employees to enhance emotional intelligence, i.e. competencies that ensure outstanding performance at the workplace: self awareness and control, empathy, social expertness and personal influence.

Creativity Development Workshop
The development workshop helps people increase their business options.  These options give more control over corporate decisions, reduce uncertainty and make it easier to achieve goals.
