Region President

Karen D. O’Boyle
President, North America
Karen joined DBM in mid 2006 and became President of North America later that year.  In her role, Karen shapes the direction and success of the firm based on customer requirements, client needs, market dynamics, and DBM innovation.  Customers look to Karen for thought leadership on a variety of issues pertaining to career transition and talent development to ensure successful transitions and tangible improvements to business performance. Her team is responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to deliver business results.

Karen has more than 20 years of experience in the Human Capital Management industry.  Her experience includes SVP with Right Management Consultants, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer with Diversified Search, EVP and Co-President with Manchester, and COO of the Private Industry Council of Philadelphia.

Karen has a Master’s of Science in Management from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.  She graduated from the Smith Management Program at Smith College in Northampton, MA.

Customer Relationship Leaders

John Beck
Vice President, Global Response Team
John is the Vice President of the Global Response Team for DBM.  He is responsible for providing expertise, oversight and direction on needs identification, services recommendations, project structure, and successful implementation of complex customer solutions from DBM's broad portfolio of transition consulting services.  John received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Washington.

Colin Christie
Vice President, Sales, Southeast
Colin is the Vice President for the Southeast Sales Area for DBM.  He is responsible for securing and maintaining relationships with key customers and ensuring that client and customer expectations are achieved through operational and sales excellence.  Colin has 35 years of experience primarily in human resource roles, executive search and transition consulting for individuals and corporations.  Colin is a graduate of the University of South Africa.

Kim Johnson
Senior Vice President, Sales, Central & West
Kim is the Senior Vice President for the Central & West Sales Areas for DBM. She is responsible for securing and maintaining relationships with key customers and ensuring that client and customer expectations are achieved through operational and sales excellence. Kim has over 18 years of experience developing sales and managing sales teams. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma at Norman.

Karen Romeo
Director, Customer Relationships Team
Karen is Director of the Customer Relationships Team for DBM.  Karen is responsible for ensuring 100% retention of our customers and providing exceptional service.   She attended Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, DE, with a focus on business administration.

Career Transition Practice Leaders

Greg Simpson
Vice President, Career Transition Services, North America
Greg is the Vice President of Career Transition Services for DBM in North America.  He is responsible for service delivery operations for North America and product development globally. Greg received his undergraduate degree in Business Marketing, a Masters in Psychology and his graduate certificate in Adult Education Training and Development from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Lisa Beaty
Vice President, Career Transition Services, US & Mexico
Lisa is the Vice President of Career Transition Services for DBM in the US and Mexico.  She is responsible for the delivery of career transition and career management services to clients and provides planning, logistics, and communications consultation and support to key accounts nationwide.  Lisa received her undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee and her graduate degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University.

Talent Development Practice Leader

Margaret-Ann Cole
Vice President and Leader, North America
Margaret-Ann Cole is Vice President and Leader for DBM’s North American Talent Development Practice. Margaret-Ann has over 25 years of experience in Human Resource transformation, organization structure and design and re-engineering processes. She works with senior HR leadership teams to develop talent strategies through organizational assessments; organizational structure analysis; and applying change management practices and methodologies. Margaret-Ann works with companies to identify and develop talent for improved organizational, team and individual performance. Prior to joining DBM, Margaret-Ann held senior consulting positions with large consulting firms including Towers Watson and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Margaret-Ann graduated with a degree in economics and psychology from Fordham University. She holds a global executive MBA from TRIUM, an alliance of the New York University Stern School, the London School of Economics, and the HEC Management School of Paris.

Corporate Services 

Doug Chegwin
Vice President, Financial Operations, North America
Doug is the Vice President of Financial Operations for DBM in North America.  He is responsible for partnering with the sales and delivery teams throughout North America to ensure DBM achieves operational excellence while delivering the highest quality services in the industry. Doug received his master's degree in Business Administration from Rollins College and his bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Helene Cavalli
Director, Corporate Marketing
Helene is the Director of Corporate Marketing for DBM. She is responsible for developing and leading DBM's marketing programs, including brand management, thought leadership, research, public relations, social media and digital marketing. Helene has over 20 years of experience in the areas of human resource consulting, talent management, workforce strategy and career transition.
